Terms of Service

Last updated: February 20, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of any Pain Resolution Therapy websites, online portals, course platforms, mobile applications, and related services we make available (collectively, the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use the Site.

1. Who we are and what we provide

Pain Resolution Therapy is a training and educational provider focusing on a neuroscience-informed psychological approach to chronic psychosomatic pain. Through the Site we may offer self-paced online courses, live trainings, and group programs; written and audio-visual educational materials; practitioner resources and templates; a practitioner directory; and general information about Pain Resolution Therapy.

The Site is intended for informational and educational purposes. It is not a clinical practice, medical clinic, or emergency service.

2. No medical, psychological, or crisis services

The Site and all content provided through it are for general education and professional development only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment; psychological or psychiatric services; physical therapy or any other regulated health profession; or emergency or crisis services.

Nothing on the Site should be used to replace consultation with a qualified health professional. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services rather than using the Site.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and maintaining an account, and to take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or close your account if we believe you have breached these Terms or provided false information.

4. Access to and use of the Site

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal or professional use in line with these Terms. You agree not to use the Site in any way that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.

4.1 Security and misuse

You must not use automated tools to access, copy, or monitor the Site; attempt to bypass security mechanisms; share or sell your login credentials; or attempt to hack or disrupt the Site. We treat any such activity as a serious breach and may immediately suspend access, block associated accounts or devices, and take legal action where appropriate.

5. Content, intellectual property, and course access

5.1 Our content

All training materials, text, graphics, logos, images, audio, and video on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. "Pain Resolution Therapy" and related names and marks may not be used without our prior written consent.

5.2 Course access license

When you enroll in a course or program, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access course materials for the access period stated at enrollment. Access is provided by streaming or viewing through our platform only. Enrollment does not transfer ownership of any course materials to you.

5.3 Expiry of access

At the end of your course access period, your right to access course materials automatically ends. We may, at our discretion, offer extensions or upgrades subject to additional fees and then-current terms.

5.4 Your contributions

By submitting questions, feedback, testimonials, or other content through the Site, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute it for the purposes of operating and promoting Pain Resolution Therapy. Do not submit sensitive personal health information or material that could identify clients.

6. Practitioner directory

Directory listings are based on information practitioners provide and update. We do not independently verify licensure, credentials, or current practice status. A directory listing does not mean we supervise, endorse, or guarantee the work of any practitioner. We may edit, suspend, or remove directory entries at our discretion.

7. Fees, purchases, and refunds

7.1 Fees and billing

When you purchase any product or service, you agree to pay the applicable fees shown at the time of purchase. All fees are payable in the currency stated at checkout.

7.2 Practitioner course: no-refund policy

PRT certification combines structured online training with active, personalized guidance from qualified trainers. Trainer support is provided by email, with responses within 24–48 hours on business days. Live one-on-one sessions are available as an optional paid add-on at USD $175 per session.

Because we assign trainers and allocate support resources from the moment of enrollment, all fees for the practitioner course are strictly non-refundable. This applies to all payment arrangements, including installment plans. If you choose a payment plan, you remain responsible for completing all installments regardless of your use of the course.

We may, at our discretion, offer to defer participation to a later cohort, provide a limited access extension, or apply a credit to a different offering. Any such option must be confirmed by us in writing.

7.3 Other offerings

For live events or separate digital products, cancellation and refund terms are set out on the relevant registration page. Unless stated otherwise: cancellations more than 14 days before a live event may be eligible for a refund less an administrative fee; cancellations within 14 days may receive a partial refund or credit at our discretion; non-attendance without prior notice is not eligible for a refund.

8. Term, changes, and termination

These Terms apply from the first time you access the Site. We may update them periodically; your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms or created risk. Some obligations — payment of fees, intellectual property provisions, and liability limitations — continue after termination.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pain Resolution Therapy, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or any content you submit through the Site.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and all content, trainings, and services are offered "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or that participation in PRT trainings will produce specific clinical, business, or personal outcomes. Completion of the practitioner course does not grant licensure and does not automatically qualify you to practice with any specific population. You remain responsible for knowing and complying with all laws, regulations, and professional standards that apply to your work.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

12. Dispute resolution

If you have a concern, please contact us first and give us an opportunity to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled under the laws and dispute-resolution framework specified in the legal notices on the Site or in your country-specific agreement, if applicable. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Copyright concerns

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, please contact us with a written notice identifying the copyrighted work, the infringing material and its location on the Site, your contact details, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, confirmation that the information is accurate, and your electronic or physical signature.

14. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other documents explicitly referenced, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at office@painresolutiontherapy.com.
